In Defense of Subculture

In defense of the ABH Subculture palette:​I was very hesitant to purchase this palette considering all the drama and controversy surrounding it - some people say it's super powdery and hard to blend, while others say there's nothing wrong with it. However, despite all the negativity, I decided to purchase it anyway since I loved the colors in it so much. And I'm SO glad I did!! I love this palette and it's, I think, my favorite eyeshadow palette, like, ever. I'm not going to say it's not powdery at all, because it is, but I don't really consider that a huge problem. As long as you tap off your brush before going in to apply it, you shouldn't really have any problems with fallout. As for the shades being "hard to blend," I didn't find that to be the case AT ALL. I think all of these shades are actually suuuuuper easy to blend. I'm just a novice when it comes to applying makeup but so far, this palette has never posed even a slight challenge for me. All the looks I've done with it have turned out great!If you're considering buying this palette but haven't because of the mixed reviews, do yourself a favor and just go for it!!! The colors in this palette are to die for and are colors that are pretty unique to the palette, so I'd definitely say that it's well worth the investment. Besides, you can always return it if you decide you don't love it. But trust me, you will ;) via /r/MakeupAddiction
